01 | Chest Pressure and Pain
Chest pressure and pain are common before a heart attack.
Chest pressure is the sensation of pressure in the chest, usually caused by an increase in the number of heartbeats. This can be caused by a number of factors, such as a heart attack, a pulmonary embolism, or aortic aneurysm.
Pain in the chest is often a sign of a heart attack. This might include chest pain that comes and goes, pain that is severe, or pain that spreads to other parts of the body.
